Jesus: "In this
world, you work for what you get. You study hard to get a good grade. You
practice hard so you can start in the next game. You work hard at home so your
parents will let you hang out with your friends. The harder you work, the more
you get.
Maybe that's why what
I have to offer seems too good to be true. You can't work for it, because
salvation is a free gift. I also give you Love, Joy, Peace, and so much more.
I'm pleased when I see you working for My kingdom, but you cannot earn My
gifts. You can only accept them. I offer them to you because I love you. And My
Love is wider and longer and higher and deeper than you could ever
imagine."
And I pray that you
and all God's holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of
Christ's love. I pray that you can understand how wide and how long and how
high and how deep that love is. -Ephesians 3:18
